FROM TREE TO TOAST
A storytelling experience that explores how food trends influence our diet

Avocados were first found in a cave in Coxcatla’n, Puebla, Mexico and were dated back to 10,000 B.C.
Aztecs would call it 'aoacatl,' a fruit symbol of love and fertility. They thought that the fruit was an aphrodisiac, capable of increasing a man’s virility and a woman’s fertility.
The translation of 'aoacatl' means testicles. The name was given due to the fact that they grow in pairs and its similarity in shape.
