A small change makes
a big difference

Avocados are thirsty fruits, they need ample water to thrive and produce fruit. The increased demand both in the U.S. and around the world is leading to deforestation in Latin America, as forests are cleared to make space for avocado orchards. In addition, importing avocados from outside the U.S. contributes to the global carbon emissions from fossil fuels.

Let's see what is your water footprint.

How many avocados do you eat per week?
